At Speedscreen we take Colour Management very seriously, our expertise in this area has been gained over many years at the sharp end of print production. This experience means we can offer that little extra when it comes to digital printing.

Example - We were asked to produce a range of posters for a leading Womens Fashion chain, they had to match exactly the Litho Chromalin proof supplied by the client and much care had already been taken with retouching the images.

The secret with solvent printing is  often the correct choice of materials matching profiles and general colour management. We experimented with three types of paper before one was deemed acceptable.

Proofs were supplied colour corrected. This picture illustrates a near perfect match was achieved between chromolin proof and paper print despite completely different substrates.

A Viewing cabinet with colour corrected lighting is essential in achieving  accurate colour matching. This needs to match the clients choice of lighting of course.

X-Rite Technology is employed with Densitometer readings to ensure colour balance is maintained.

Various versions of poster all printed to the same high standards in sizes of A1 and A0
