SPEEDSCREEN was established in 1986. It boasts some of the most sophisticated digital print equipment in the world to date.  Operating from 18,000 sq feet of modern premises in Maidstone Kent.  ( The Garden of England)

We are a forward thinking, dynamic business and consider ourselves a "PRINT SOLUTIONS COMPANY". We offer a diverse range of print processes to match any clients individual needs. Technology has moved on and in the 21st century clients need a company with 21st century thinking and hardware to match.

This does not mean we have discarded our roots of screen process printing, a service we still hold dear and will offer our clients for years to come. Many jobs are best suited with Screen process printing from both a cost perspective and quality aspect.





A £780,000 Investment in the most advanced large format digital printer ever manufactured to date. The first of it's kind in Europe the Durst 1012.  Printing the finest quality combined with the highest speed yet devised.

This puts Speedscreen in a different league altogether - The machine is capable of matching litho quality at speeds up to 490 sqm per hour. Confirming yet again our commitment to keeping abreast of industry developments and in turn offering our clients better quality with improved delivery expectations.

2011 saw further investment in DURST with the installation of this roll to roll printer. The Durst 320 prints up to 3200mm wide on a wide range of media, including textiles, pvc and mesh. Capable of running twin 1600mm rolls simultaneously.




This the second Durst Digital flat bed we installed in 2009. The Durst Rho 800 is an amazing machine capable of printing virtually any substrate up to 40mm thick and 2500mm wide by any length.

A unique feature is it has two separate white channels, enabling it to print white over an image or underneath it .

Also a roll to roll facility, making it one of the most versatile wide format machines available.


A ZUND G3 a state of the art finishing cad cutter and router 3.2 m x 3.2 m footprint. It has a moving table for handling rolls as well as rigid materials.




A Kongsberg production table was installed in 2008 which offers the latest technology in finishing. Cutting, Milling, Kiss cutting & Sample making. Complicated Cutting with no expensive cutter dies required.



A cutter and plotter used for kiss cutting vinyl or simply drawing traces on plotter film. A very fast machine ideal for long run vinly cutting.




We Screen Print up to 3000mm x 1500mm in one pass, a rare facility, and one that has created a massive demand for our large format skills.This is complemented with a UV drying facility, helping SPEEDSCREEN stay at the forefront of new ink technology whilst helping the environment by reducing solvent emissions.

Other equipment includes two Serifast 2100 x 1500mm Screen Print machines .Capable of speeds in excess of 1500sqm per hour These one colour machines make loger runs much more competitive.

The Finishing Department also has a Guillotine capable of cutting 1850mm in length, one of the largest such machines in the South East of England.

Whilst it has kept abreast of Technological change, SPEEDSCREEN has also kept the core skill levels often needed with the unusual requests it receives.

We pride ourselves in our Colour Management skills using Epson colour corrected proofs and the latest Densitometer software for colour monitoring.

A Computer linked Ink matching system also ensures accurate pantone matches too, regardless of material.
